Sony should license their XAVC codec to DJI so it'll be easier to work, also more efficient compression. Yeah DJI, thanks but no thanks.
No IBIS, no thanks.
Even DJI didn't get it at first try, now with so many action cameras in the market is going to be tough to justify dropping $500 for a GoPro. And the Karma had a lot people that already had a camera just needing to take some aerial footage but looks like they rushed and skipped QA and got all that bad press for it.
Honestly that euro version DMC-GH4RE-K is starting to look a pretty good option. Any word if it can shoot 30 fps?
Great Canon will have it ready to ship by the time ARRI has their 12k and REDtheirs as well. And Sony even though they are pushing their 4K cinealta lineup right now, rest assured that the folks in Japan are working for at least a 8K camera with 14 stops or more of dynamic range.
So why don't just use the FS7 to shoot the movie in actual 10 bit 422 then?
