Gaff tape really is any techie’s best friend. I use almost everyday at work for something or another. I’ve used it for everything from repairing projector screens that we needed that night to fixing a cracked kick drum’s drum head and bass hole. This is a good source and has given me ideas on new ways to use gaff tape more effectively.
This is quite useful. If you’re on a budget (a very tight budget) you could also use towels and lumber to make sound panels as well. I recommend checking out DIY Perks video on YouTube, it may be really helpful. The only issue I can see with the towel method is that though it is really good at deadening a room, it lacks the response curve of true acoustic foam that makes rooms sound more natural even when acoustically treated.
Thanks. I haven’t used an a6300 before but I do know a few of my mates who own them. I’ll try it out and see if that might work for me.
