Thank you Guido. Appreciate it :)
Thank you Ces, appreciate it :)
Cheers for that :) We pretty much specialise in shooting IR so I don't know much about any of the other filters they produce. I have heard people speak highly of the Carbon 1 + 2s though as they apparently have great highlight roll off and mild diffusion giving the REDs more of an 'Alexa look'. Take what you will out of that ;) I'd imagine some of the Taylor Swift music video was shot on a Carbon olpf. For what we do, we leave the full spectrum in the camera and filter the front of the lens for either colour or IR. The full spectrum pretty much lives in the camera now and has replaced REDs own low light olpf :)
If you're interested we bought both the full spectrum and IR pass OLPFs from Kipper Tie and recently did some IR testing with them. https://vimeo.com/162959655
The full spectrum is handy for when you need to swap between shooting IR and colour while the IR pass is handy for when you are using lenses which cant be filtered easily on the front.
