I think you missed one on your list. The original BM Ursa. Those sensor upgrades never did materialize nor is there any indication it's likely to happen anytime soon (if ever). To add insult to injury, those owners can't even upgrade to the new firmware that was just released.
"Comforting" was probably not a word existing Blackmagic Ursa owners would have used in regards to this years show. They had been promised a turret upgrade for their cameras for the last year or so that never materialized. In fact, I saw many videos where reps claimed they'd get the new sensor upgrade (4.6K) before the Ursa Mini's came out.
Many (including myself) were hoping there would be a surprise announcement (or at least an update on this) at this year's show. No reporters even asked about it (or the status of the 4.6k Ursa either for that matter)
Since the Ursa was widely marketed as a "sensor upgradeable" camera from it's introduction, BM could have at least offered some sort of status update on this or some reassurance that they were indeed still working on it. I think this was the most missed question for the folks at Blackmagic at NAB2016.
