I have a Fujifilm X-T1 and the rubber on the right side of the camera where I hold it is starting to peel off. I’m wondering if it’s time for me to upgrade my body or if I should push through and get a new lens. I think the only real focal length I’m missing is the ultra wide so I’m considering the XF 8-16mm. Sometimes I’m standing in front of a big building and I wish I could capture more. More about the type of shooter I am: I travel a lot and like to take a lot of landscape shots. Because of my travels, I would prefer my gear to be light and WR. XF lenses I currently have are the 16mm f1.4, 56mm f1.2, 27mm pancake, 35mm f2, and 50-140mm. I also have a X100F that I prefer to carry with me while traveling. However, because it’s not WR, I bring my X-T1 with just my 16mm prime when rain is on the forecast or if it’s going to be a humid place.
I guess my upgrade options http://movieseriesworld.com/ would be either an X-H2 (will have to wait for it) or XF 8-16mm (currently on sale). Or maybe I should even go as far to think about a full gear switch to full frame? http://www.movieseriesworld.com/forums/index.php Really want to get better low light shots. What do you guys think?
Thank you my issue has been solved,......
