I never understood Steve's argument. He's afraid they may send him somewhere he may not want to go or keep him from going somewhere he thinks he should. Isn't he the one who was willing to do just about anything to join the Army? Being sent somewhere you may not want to go or not be able to go somewhere you want is kind of a big part of being in the military as a whole.
