Hi! I am an italian sudent and I can totally relete to this!
-I just finished my most ambitious short film after two previous projects
-it contains CGI shots at night
-The lead actress is a child
-I didn't had a deadline
-It had to be my "ultimate short film"
I began preproduction in early 2014 and I published it just two weeks ago. I went through all the "perfectionism" struggle just like you.
All I can say is that the most important thing, which is also my new lifecode, is "getting sh*t done". It will never be perfect due to budget issues, lack of collaborators, equipment problems, even the script will not be perfect, but this is the point of learning. We need to PUBLISH THINGS and receive feedback in order to improve. We need to make mistakes and put them for everyone to see. Don't worry too much and think that even if this is your last short film yet, it is just your third, so it's just another little step in the staircaise of your filmmaking career.
Hope this will help you, I am looking forward to your big project!

It feels oversharp imho. Did you turn down contrast and sharpness in camera before shooting?
Thanks for your feedback!
Ok thanks a lot I'll look around!
ahaha yeah sure! I don't know if I'm allowed to write here my email but from my user page you can go on my website and there you can get my email...
