Never went to film school. Started in film as a grip, then as second assistant camera and sparks. Apprenticed as a film editor before training as a director at the BBC, working first in the Science Features department then at the Natural History Unit. Directed and/or produced over fifty hours of network TV, mostly international co-productions. Edited more than thirty community-based not-for-profit video projects. Recently jacked-in working as a programme doctor in broadcast TV because I'm fed up with fixing the problems of people who should know better.
You can check out some of my credits on IMDb or Vimeo (but I'm afraid I am very poor at keeping them up-to-date).
