Boards Comment – How best to deal with Flickering?

Hi Prosper,
You'll probably need to adjust your shutter angle/speed. Red does a great free app called RED TOOLS that has half a dozen apps contained within - one of them is called Flicker Free. You dial in Power Frequency (50Hz in UK) and Frame Rate and it does a little calculation and offers you safe shutter angles/speeds that will avoid that annoying flickering.

Article Comment – 'High-Rise' Director on Why He Storyboards With 1,000 Drawings and Edits His Own Movies

Great interview. Love Ben Wheatley's work. Would love to hear more. To me he's the most interesting British director since Shane Meadows, but he does crazy genre stuff. Kill List literally blew my mind.

Very much looking forward to this and Free Fire - a 90 minute gunfight in a warehouse? What's not to like?
