If you'd like to add a book that focuses on screenplay adaptation, I hope you'll consider "Great Adaptations: Screenwriting and Global Storytelling" (Routledge 2018), 2nd Place Winner in the 2019 International Writers Awards. Screenwriter Robin Swicord ("Wakefield", "Matilda, "Little Women") says, "It's a book every screenwriter should read."
