Wow, I've been searching for a solution to this insane artifacting and gamma lift that I've had with some exports from Premiere today and THIS was what was going on. I tried exporting it about 5 different ways and kept having issues, but as soon as I viewed them in VLC, there was an enormous improvement. THANK YOU, Seth!
