Nothing to see here folks, move on :)
An old 80 yo dude with old school film making, who embraced Mobile Films as the way to go.
All my expensive camcorders, film cameras are on the shelf. Replaced by small recording devices and never looked back.
It's not the resolutions and RED-6,8K this or that... it's the STORY!
OK, I am opening the floodgates to hate mail to get educated by the young film makers :)
Hahahah
Jeff-Dude, lighten up will ya !
NFS is having fun writing the story and we all appreciate what they do:)
I like it as is...
Work for free is no fun, but there are advantages.
You learn a lot if you pay attention how to progress for a paid gig.
In the old days an apprentice worked for free or nearly free for 4-6 years. Today people think they should be paid as they learn a craft. OK, if that's what you think, next time get a first year doctor to operate on you without practical experience :)
See how that will work out.
You have to be the master of your craft and that takes years and years... with low pay or no pay.
I give up... why everyone calls these QUADS a 'drone' ?
A 'drone' is the one Military use with WINGS and sensors, missiles.
This RC (remote Controlled) TOY is not a 'drone'. Look at the DJI description who makes these QUADS don't call it a 'drone'.
I am amazed by people actually gave money to this project. When first saw this camera I thought it was a joke. How can anyone can design such a stupid looking camera!
Congratz on a well deserved failure with this project.
depressing.
I was on location to watch some of the scenes setup in the alley (Venice, Calif) and transformed into something it really wasn't there before. Amazing set designers and painters at work. Spoke to many of the crew as well. One of the best part of living in LA was location sets and watch how it's done. The movie was great !
Back in those days, there were no security people chasing you away. Cops were there, to make sure the traffic was flowing but not interfered with people watching close by. Miss the old days....
