Disappointing. Why force people to pay for a Carbon Fibre body they don't need? And why offer a cheaper Magnesium option if it's not going to be compatible with the new 8K sensor? Magnesium will be completely out of date with no sensor upgrade path by the end of the year.
Some of the Weapon redesign decisions are nice, but the 8K full frame sensor is the only thing that will radically change the "look" we can already achieve with an existing Epic Dragon... and even with a trade-in, it'll cost 46K-56K to get there. Pretty stunned at how ridiculous this is.

No DC input on a $3-4K EVF? If you're paying that much for an EVF, you're probably not working with an abundance of LP-E6 batteries any more. Zacuto makes a D-tap to LP-E6 dummy battery, for an extra $170, but it's a clumsy workaround in my opinion.
