There's 3 or 4 other cinematography podcasts out there where I feel far more engaged to the hosts and learn a lot more. I mean no offense to "Team Deakins," but James really doesn't have much to add to the discussion, I wonder why she is there. I subscribed to this because it's Roger, but I've found myself spacing out and not hanging on their words. I doubt I will keep listening. Scriptation recently published their Top 15 Filmmaking podcast w/No Film School listed at #1. I've listed to that entire list, and everyone of them is better than "Team Deakins." Bob Bayers makes a good point in the comments below, and he's not wrong. Reading the story above the reason for the podcast is Roger and Jamers are actively trying to "do less" to help the community, and the reason the podcast exists is because they "often answer the same questions." Give me a break.
