Read my original comment again. Never said it was not tragic to other audiences, I just said it has a much stronger impact in NA.
If you think the way the kid dies does not have much to do with the impact the film has on North American audiences then agree to disagree.
No, but the film works much more in North America because school shootings are so prevalent and feel much closer to home there.
For people in NA I guess. I really don't think it has as strong of an impact on other countries.
