I love this gear obsession. A new camera every year with higher resolution. If you are not able to create amazing work at 1080 then 8k will not help you. I was a first a Canon boy then a Sony lover until I met the bmpcc6k. Game over everyone. Instead of focusing on what gear to buy next, I focused on making my footage look way above budget and that has given me more satisfaction than the latest camera. Stop obsessing about gear and focus more on your creative heart.

Too late bmpcc4k n 6k just took you Sony. (I owned an a7s2 and FS5)

So what I did. I packaged my A7sii and sold it on eBay. With that money and 300 more I bought me the bmpcc 6k. Let me tell you it is liiiiight years ahead of Sony and now looking to sell my FS5 since it’s only been collecting dust (personal opinion).
