Stop! Before you get too excited the way the sign up process works is really shady. You can't see if any theaters work near you unless you sign up etc.
Use this site to check if the program works near you first: http://mdudetm.com/moviepass/
Be patient the site is totally overloaded so it takes a while to check, but it's better than this company tricking you into giving them your financial info and more only to find out you can't use the service.
The whole model is based on them selling your personal info: http://www.businessinsider.com/moviepass-lets-you-go-to-all-the-movies-y...
thank you, seriously, I explain this to my filmmaker friends all the time and they still think the holy grail is more pixels. I'm probably doing a poor job explaining, but this is way to valuable of a point to be treated like trash by filmmakers.
I like a lot of your picks, but (and I don't mean this to be a troll) what do you like about shattered glass? It used to be my "worst movie I'd seen and compare other bad movies to" movie for a long time. I might give it another shot, it's been a while.
I attempted this on a long road trip once, dictating a story to siri as I drove. It failed miserably. Siri couldn't keep up and kept dropping full sentences. I really like the concept of being able to do this though. Anyone try this with the dragon mobile app or something similar and have it work?
That was painful to watch. If you're looking for faster editing solutions and haven't tried FCPX yet, please do that before this. It's got a bad wrap online but being an editor of 10 years now having used FCP 5 through 7, AVID, and Premier there's no NLE like it.
that stinks, so this card is aimed at the real serious phone cinematographer?
