The BM Video Assist has LUT support since the newest firmware updat which is really good and will be very usefull with your A7r when recording slog. Mine just arrived, havent had the chance to use it a lot. But I like it. Its also very compact. In my opinion the best value monitor outthere feature vise. Also has false color which I think is essential

C100 and BMPCC are my two favs. Invest the rest of the money into light and grip and you can shoot beautiful stuff.

Umm, yeah. Actually everybody and their mom uses Nikkors of the AI and AIS line on REDs, Blackmagics and DSLRs. Sets of Nikon AIS primes belong to the most frequently used cinemodded SLR lenses along with Leica Rs and Zeiss Contax. Dont know where that post came from.
