Lots of good cameras out there now, but which one comes down to use and preference a bit. C100mk2/fs7/fs700/a7s/bmcc all good options. Personally I'm partial to fs700+7q but fs7 is more convenient. A lot may come down to your workflow preference vs image quality preference/requirements. Sony can produce better image quality with the right workflow but canon can be easier and bmcc can be a pain to rig for run and gun, comparatively. Lenses depend on your style as well, but a speedbooster with the sigma 24-105 covers most things. The 28-135 power zoom lens isn't likely to be wide enough for s35 and that'd eat a chunk of your budget.
For one man band shooting I use a bunch of yongnuo yn600 LEDs in daylight and bicolor and umbrella softboxes and lightweight stands. Remote control dimming helps without a gaffer, very lightweight, good color, and the price is hard to beat. You'll likely want some extra lights and modifiers... If get some frames, clamp, arms and maybe some lightweight lowel tungsten. And one awesome big rolling case that fits it all so you can take it all in one trip on your own and not have to stack and pack a cart by yourself constantly.
