Article Comment – Watch the Same Locations in 'Back to the Future' from Every Time Period in the Trilogy

Saw the whole trilogy in a triple-bill screening tonight. One of the most enjoyable cinematic experiences I've ever had. Really highlights the magic of the stories and the brilliance of the Bobs, seeing them all in quick succession like that. Lots to be learned from the creative team behind all of these movies.

Love that the 28 degree angle was from 28 Days Later. Happy accidents.

Boards Comment – Shooting and Editing 60 fps vs 24 fps

You're better off using 24p for the stuff you want at regular speed and 60 for slow motion. Depending on how you compress it, you might get some weird frame interpolation stuff going on. 24p looks better in a 24p timeline. Good luck!

Boards Comment – Freshman Cinematography 2014-2015

Hey, man, some great-looking stuff here. I've just subscribed to your channel as my production company, Celluloid Rebellion. I'm not sure if you're open to constructive advice, but I've gotta tell you that some of the stuff here would look much better without such a prevalent color grade. At 0:03 the brightness and contrast are such that you're losing a lot of info in both your highlights and shadows. The same goes for around 1:09. But that's a super nitpicky gripe. Look forward to following your future work. Cheers!
