$2500 for decent specs that you can pick up for $1000. If I were to pick up a laptop for that price I would rather pick up something like a razor, much better specs.

DaVinci Resolve has came a long way from it's inception. It has packed quite a bit of features, I believe the platform would explode to the mainstream if it were to adopt more compatibility with other software much like adobe premiere. I often forget Davinci exist's because I do all my color grading in the editor itself.

I completely agree, Martin Scorsese has more then enough to show for. Being an elite in the industry, I would gladly participate in learning years of wisdom in the making of the most prestigious films of all time!
