This show does look a bit unnecessarily dark to me. On the flip side many people complained about the last season of Game of Thrones but there I felt it made sense because the scenes were literally in a place with no light, so it’s motivated and real.
And there was absolutely nothing impressive or notable about the footage. You could have shot it with a C300 and probably wouldn’t be able to tell a difference. It was pointless to even say this was shot with a RED
This looks a lot better. Only downside is footage looked a little noisy. But this was well shot. My only concern is how much extra gear and rigging to this camera was done to get this footage out of it? I mean like a recorder, support equipment, etc.
wow that comment went way over your head didn't it?
Yikes that dining scene looks horrid.
I actually did something similar for a TV show about 8 years ago. I mounted the GoPro to a Javalin for a challenge for the TV show The Ultimate Fighter. I didn’t like the fact that it spins when you throw the Javalin though seems they have the same issue with the arrow. I also tried mounting the GoPro to a discus but that spun way to fast and it also kept flying off the disk too.
