Where did I mention the URSA MINI? I know CFast cards are also expensive, my points being that ssd are proprietary in the case of AJA. I don't think we will see any kind of third party compagnies making ssd for the CION cause AJA probably won't share thier ssd patent. Convergent Design SSD, per exemple, even if there are also proprietary are still only 395USD for 256gb. (I think they also now endorse other ssds) That's still 30% cheaper than AJA which have been around since the Ki Pro Quad. What are your choice with AJA? Only 256gb and 512gb
And...CFast Cards comes in varierty of size, 32gb, 64gb, 128gb, 256gb... from 100USD to 600USD, and I'm only looking at Lexar. Soon the technologies will evolve and we'll see better and cheaper.
Also, a 4000$ price drop on the camera still doesn't justify to charge 695USD for one 256gb ssd. You'll still need to spend at least 4000$ on batteries and ssds. That still 8000$ for a camera that doesn't do much compare to competitors.
Just thinking about the menu makes me not want this camera.

Seems like a nice price...
The problem I have is the promotional short film
Intro crane shot is out of focus... can't believe they are showing this. @0,18sec
Almost all the movement aren't fluid as they should be... @1,07sec you can feel it stop.
First, let's look at equiv 'cause you mention something between 28mm and 35mm FF)
Zeiss 15mm 2.8 ZE or CP2 (21,75mm equiv)
Zeiss 21mm 2.8 ZE or CP2 (30,45mm equiv)
Zeiss 28mm 2.0 ZE or CP2 (40.6mm equiv)
Zeiss 35mm 2.0 ZE or CP2 (50.75mm equiv)
Zeiss 50mm 1.4 ZE or 2.1 CP2 ( 72.5mm equiv)
I would go with 21mm, 35mm and 50mm, there's a 25mm F2 ZE that also exist if you want to go closer to 35mm equiv. I think the 21mm is a really good lens, nice MFD, sharp across the edge at 2.8. I suggest you get a 50mm 'cause you'll surely want some close up and a 35mm (which gives you a standard field of view) might be a little too wide for headshots. In the end, it all very depends on the space you have to film your interview.
