I'm not sure why NFS has treated this camera with such legitimacy, or any legitimacy at all for that matter. It's been pretty obvious from the beginning that the Fran 8k is the Fyre Festival of cameras. At best a misguided attempt by some random person to build a camera, at worst a scam, and always possibly just an elaborate prank.
Classic Jourdan Aldridge article: confusing, inaccurate, pointless. Can someone please check his homework from now on? Between this and the bonkers “mirrorless vs dlsr” article he wrote, NFS is on a quick ride to obscurity.
FYI Tascam and Juicedlink can't enable the headphone jack during recording due to patent issues with zaxcom, that's the reason why neither feature wireless monitoring.
Ps: I love my Juicedlink little darling, it's built like a tank and I especially like the remote for wireless start, stop and slate.
