Lots of wrong interpretations and errors, but a fun watch nevertheless.
The hell are you talking about?!
This lens is mediocre at best. I have the Smena 8 camera. I've had it for 30 years. It did cost like $5 when new. Cheap toy for kids-wannabe-photographers and family snaps.
Don't hold your breath for this feature.
The release date for this update has been pushed back quarter after quarter for a year or more.
Highly unlikely that Primer actually did have such shooting ratio.
Even if they did use practically everything they shot, the leading and trailing time of all the shots (slate to real action, and cut! to camera off) would amount to more than a minute...
Spielberg is the wrong example. He is a director, not a writer-director like Shyamalan.
Also, he happens to be one of the world's best directors. Who cares if he can write or not.
Magic Lantern raw is beautiful! The density of color is far beyond anything you can get out of the standard codec.
Workflow is simple: convert the out-of-camera ML raw to DNG raw. Then edit and color straight from the DNG raw.
Conversion can be done with a myriad of programs. Pick one in the ML forums: http://www.magiclantern.fm/forum/index.php?board=54.0
I also use a program called SlimRAW which does lossless compression on the DNG raw video and brings it down to less than half the size with no quality loss.
I don't know if Vegas can process DNG raw, you'll need to check this. I use Premiere and Davinci and they both work in real time with DNG raw.
