I choose the components by myself. You just have to pick up components that are compatible with mac (http://www.tonymacx86.com/buyersguide/july/2016). These components are always compatible with windows. So you can have both OS on the same computer and that works very well

I always have been on windows but now almost everyone around me have a mac.
And, I hearded that Macinstosh version of Davinci Resolve is more stable than the windows version. These are de 2 reasons that pushed me to build a hackintosh.
1- Windows and Macintosh will be turning with exactly the same components
2- Yes softwares I'll be using are avaible on the two OS platform
3- I admit that I didn't think about the thunderbolt
