I think you yap about the pandemic in a show only if you're an idiot, e.g. you deliberately 'want' to date your shows. Imagine re-runs of Law & Order yapping about Bill and Monica. Would they have still have a shelf life on WE, or would they be history because of it? Same thing with the trend of showing off the latest iPhone a few years back. Those shows are now dated because of it and honestly, rather less than fun to watch because everybody goes off stories of their 4S and just like that, the storyline is toast.
My Shogun is showing its age and I'd rather a 5" to replace it - means SDI, or nothing.
And why not Sony E-mount? Not invented here? Surely not the case as EF is Canon. Curious, I agree.
I don't believe in writer's block - only in being unprepared. Basically, if you haven't planned your work via an outline for a story, then you can't possibly get started on anything. Make the plan, then work it. Boy meets, girl, loses girl, finds girl again? Fine! Who's the boy, how's he lose her, how's he find her? Write down that and start answering questions! The story writes itself! Making the movie? Same thing, working from the script make the shot list and figure out locations, then get permits, and shoot the silly thing. Edit into a seamless whole and presto, time for the next project. Too much to create to slow down frustrated with writer's block. Sheesh!
Interesting concept but here's the rub as far as 'I' am concerned. I want a hammer, I buy it and use it until it's broken, lost, or stolen. Adobe went to SaS (software as a service) and suddenly I'm a renter instead of a buyer. No offense to people who want to become landlords but I avoid this scenario like the plague. My point? This guy is going to want to treat me like sheep, e.g. shear me yearly. So I'll wait for it to become a plug-in, instead. But he's spent all this time and effort creating it so he should be remunerated? Yes, he has, but charge me for it, don't rent it to me. Don't want to do it that way? Fine, I'll wait him out because if it's software, it'll be copied.
I hope it includes a talley light.
