Thank you for all the good informations, really helpful !
But I'm wondering how do you go from premiere to 5dToRGB for final transcoding after final edit done ?
I did my edit in native h264, and now I would like to replace only the clip used in my edit by transcoded one for better color grading result. Is there a way to send them quickly into 5DtoRGB , rather than select each clip>show in finder>put it in 5DtoRGB, etc... ?
"For Premiere-based editors, it looks like the workflow I'd imagined before even trying 5DtoRGB will indeed be the best. Which is to edit natively in Premiere Pro -- save the hard drive space and time you would've spent transcoding -- and then if you're concerned with the absolute best quality output, transcode with 5DtoRGB as part of the finishing process."
