Article Comment – 11 LED Lights Go Head-to-Head in a Scientific Color Shootout: Which Should You Buy?

Wow, badass test! I must have purchased an older model of Dracast LED's because mine were showing huge magenta spikes today, although I didn't test with the meter you have, they looked absolutely terrible. I used a Kino instead and the skin tones came out way cleaner. I love the LED portability, but I'm getting too OCD about color now. Kino's it is!

Article Comment – Manual Focus Nikon Primes: The Swiss Army Knife of Lenses

Thanks for the review! I have a GH4 and am trying to find a 2 zooms roughly 18-50mm and another zoom for the rest of the 50-200mm range. I primarily do film, so I don't want electronics, especially since the lens won't communicate to GH4 through adapter. I really would like solid build like these vintage glass have. Definitely want crop lens cuz I'm tired of using full frames on my crop sensor. Also obviously need a manual aperture, so basically manual everything but crop lens. I'm having trouble finding any modern lens with those features, and cannot find vintage glass (even a set of primes) that suit my needs. It's like I should either buy an extremely expensive set of native primes, or buy a full frame camera.

Would appreciate any help. Currently love the SMR Takumar 28, 50, and 135, but they aren't crop lenses..
Thanks!
