I'd love to ask some camera manufacturers about this: Everyone seems to be in this big race to 6k/8k sensors. And full frame (35mm) sensors are getting more and more popular.
But I just want a 4k full frame camera that can shoot high frame rates (120 would be nice, 240 would be great) WITHOUT CROPPING! Surely all this processing power that is being used to achieve these crazy resolutions (that barely any of us mortals can deal with), can be directed towards achieving 120fps at 35mm: NO CROP. Or do we just wait for the A7siii to come out...?
Thanks for that info. That's really interesting.
What information would you need in terms of my "mastering process"?
So how do I grade for cinema projection gamma? Are there any good sources of information you can point me to on this subject?
