"How to void your warranty for $329."
Seriously, if you're complaining that the screen doesn't flip out then this camera is not for you. This is a low budget cinema camera. Expect to buy accessories like you would any other cinema camera.
By the way I own a 4k. Great camera, I have an external monitor. Sometimes even a flip out screen can't cut it.
So.... how is this supposed to fit under my cage? Looks like fits flush to the body. Not worth 250. For less than 100 I rigged a dyi power solution that lasts just as long as this. If I had enough I could spend as much money as this accessory and get a power solution that lasts 4 times as long. Ya’ll need to stop complaining about battery life and treat this like a brain. No one complains about red cameras having crappy battery life, instead they buy a giant battery.
If I wanted a DIY power solution I would do DIM.
Forgive my ignorance, but what is a multitool? I searched on google and got a lot of different results. If anyone can provide any links to Amazon or anything like that it would be appreciated.
Poor writing and directing is now a stylistic choice? Tell that to Hitchcock, Akira, and the other great masters of film. Or better yet, why not tell that to Michael Bay? See, if we can't criticize what we perceive as "poor writing and directing" then we really can't criticize any terrible movie. George Lucas may "know" a lot about the art of cinema and the "tech side" of things, but that doesn't mean he can put it into practice, which I think is well demonstrated not only by the Star Wars prequels, but also by the Indiana Jones sequel and some of his subsequent projects.
