100% agree with FX Console. Saves a ton of time. I find myself using FX Console with each and every project along with Motion v2 and Animation Composer.

I would first check under Preferences>Audio tab and make sure that Automatic Audio Waveform Generation is checked on. If it is already checked on, I would re-import the file. Obviously longer videos will take longer to conform and generate the waveform, so sometimes if you don't let it do its thing, it gets screwed up. Also check scratch disks and make sure there is enough space on that drive to generate those files. Hope this helps.

NOOO GOD NO NO NOOOOO. You should be using 'set to frame size'. That way it automatically scales the footage down and sets it at the appropriate scale instead of 'rasterizing'. This way you can scale back up to 100 without losing quality.
