I'm very disappointed about how the new AMD D700 cards in the Mac Pro are giving Premiere problems. I'm getting random horizontal lines on export and sometimes during editing. Any idea if this will be resolved?
Anyone having the ongoing issues with Premiere and the new Mac Pro with the D700 cards? I've been getting those random horizontal lines both on export and while editing. Adobe said it wasn't their problem but am hoping this changes with the coming updates. Anyone know anything about this issue?
Yes I agree, using the 24-105 with a speedbooster sounds awesome. My FS7 is on the way. While using the speedbooster, are you still experiencing the flicker when changing the iris? If so, any idea if Sony/Metabones will have a fix?
Yeah I try to be as much hands off as possible and make sure I am in their personal space as least as possible. I ask them, especially women, if they want to put it on themselves first while making sure they know the most important thing is to hide the wiring. But I agree, it is always awkward and will always be a different experience per persons.
If transcoding from H.264 (DSLR footage for example) to Pro Res, then doesn't this mean you are just wasting hard drive space and time? If you have a decent computer that can editing, scrub through etc. H.264 footage then, from what I gather, there is no reason to transcode.
Can someone explain to me what the benefit is to importing the quicktime pro res presets into Adobe for Mac? Adobe already has the Codec installed? Am I missing something?
YESS this is great news. Does this mean Pro Res 422 and 4K recording internally? Without the addition of the extension unit? Anyone have an idea when it will be back in stock specifically at B&H?
