Great review, and I loved the video! The only thing that bummed me out was the use of warp stabilizer on some shots. Would have loved to see more of what the camera felt like handheld without the warp exaggerating the wobble. Beautiful footage though, and I like how you presented it!
It seems totally doable that Glover would be harnessed into some kind of rig that would rotate him and the camera at the same time. Based on the footage, and how you can see gravity acting on his body, I think it would be very unlikely that the crew did something other than this relatively simple setup.
Honestly, this mashup shows more parallels, and is more fun to watch:

I thought so, too, and when mashed up, they have some very definite parallels:
I actually kind of like it. And apparently, so does Spike Jonze's, since he's done this before.

If you can swap out a character with another character of a different race, and it doesn't make any difference to the story, it wasn't the person's race that made them the savior. For example, if you had swapped out Clint Eastwood with, say, Morgan Freeman, you could have had the exact same scene, because that scene wasn't about Clint's ability to be white and defeat the bad guys. He was an old man who didn't put up with anything, and he intimidated the thugs to save the couple. In other words, it's not racism if race had nothing to do with it in the first place.
