Do you mean none of these focusing methods involve PULLING focus? It was never said that the video would talk about pulling focus. Achieving focus and pulling focus are two different things.
yeah, exactly. the crew hides behind things as close as possible. In that opening shop in the hallway, there were people probably right under the tables and just around corners. If you look up and to the left you can see a big light up there that kinda just fits in with the scene, so they didn't composite it out
VR is an extremely difficult medium to work in. Every single step of the process is 10x harder. Everything from pre to post is having to be invented on the fly. This was a great BTS and the actual VR piece was good too. It's easy to make POV cheesy, but I feel it kinda worked here.
