For people on a budget I would have thought a 4x4 matte box would have made more sense.
4x5.65 filters are hard to come by on the used market and aren't necessary with the vast majority of lenses.

I've yet to see someone successfully use these double focusing setups.
It really doesn't seem like it's worth the hassle. Just shoot 2.40 cropped on spherical lenses if you can't get a proper set of anamorphics.

That was a fairly poor test. What does 2 1/2 minutes of uninteresting slow motion with a flaming sword tell you about the practical character of a vintage lens?
