Article Comment – Say Hello to the New, Even More Filmmaker-Focused GH5S

Hum...lots of people critisizing the new GH5s for lack of IBIS and not so much improvement...Maybe we didn't see the same test but from what i have seen on the reviews it seems that there isn't only the high iso which is better. The dynamic range seems better, the colors, the image quality overall, the noise performance is incredible and the autofocus seems also better on the test i saw, so lot of improvements over the GH5. The argument from Panasonic for lack of IBIS, that lots of pro user told them that IBIS wasn't so good with the use of gimbals seems legit and maybe we could wait on tests with a GH5s on a gimbal with OIS lenses and the new AF to critize it. And the GH5 has better resolution for stills and the IBIS so it's not buried right now so maybe there are also commercial considerations which is not so bad for GH5 owners !

Article Comment – The ProDrone Byrd Is a Portable, Modular UAV that Folds Down to the Size of an iPad

It can be a real improvement over the one already there ! The idea to be able to mount "real" cameras like gh4, bmpcc, etc... on a easy to fly and light drone is a new thing and with it we can finally access to more image quality without having to buy big, expensive mutirotor drones...so yes, for me it could be a game changer !

Article Comment – More on Vimeo's 4K Playback, Adaptive Streaming, and Higher Frame Rates

I'll hope it will correct the playback problems i encounter everytime despite having great internet connection ! It seems better and being able to choose is good news.

Article Comment – DJI Osmo Is a Powerful 4K Camera with an Integrated 3-Axis Gimbal Stabilizer

Calling this unique is a bit strange for me...It's like there is no Pistolet grip gimbal out there...Ok the osmo is designed for his owns cameras but i'm not sure that its so much of an innovation.
I really look forward to some comparisons but i think a gh4 or as7 on a Piltofly or a Came single it's still better even if it's a bit harder to have smooth shots.
