yes 780ti support is ok because of Kepler chip, CC cant recognize Maxwell chips. I was trying to render all GPU rendered effect (procamp, lumetri etc..) but gtx980 still idle and CPU goes to 100%. Davinci is just not my powerhouse but yes, working better with gpu sadly ...
Have one gtx980 but its not supported in PPCC2015.3 and gpu is constantly idle. Running with i7 5960x
i am using SSD for actual projects now, my problem is i need different GPU, current gtx980 cant handle full playback and for some reason bigger monitor than 24" making PP unusable - windows related but i cant solve it. so these issues and some more make me think to move from windows platform
i mean fullres playback like "full" in premiere preview window and not like 1/4 or 1/2 ;) my output is mostly 1080p at all so its not a problem but now with my GPU i cant handle full playback with some effect (for example procamp) and need to render after every change. GTX980 is not supported in PPCC2015.3 no change after add cuda_supported.txt even if Mercury CUDA is activated in PP settings GPU always running from 0-7% while rendering
Dont think its about render settings - using the same for ages (for 24 or 25p). Problem maybe causing mega o.i.s. on lense BUT there is something odd cause i must switch it off even in camera body settings not only switch on lens - now with both off looking good so far but i must give it a test. thank you
still have no time to upload steady with moving character but for example here, hallway scene: https://youtu.be/OvL9GBfJzfQ?t=12s - why i can do faster pans with 24p (like example above) without jerky-flickering ? again shooted at 25p 1/50s i still thinking that movement should be more fluid with more motion blur with 180 deg. shutter rule
