I feel like everyone should know that there's some bugs in the Inspire 2 right now that you should consider. 1. The batteries fail - suddenly. I just had to send mine in for repair. I was lucky that failure didn't happen in mid flight like it does for some. 2. The Inspire 2 doesn't fly straight. This is a problem that many people are facing on the forums including myself. I might get a straight shot after its been in the air for 5-10 minutes... its hard to nail down whats causing it but it's a real problem. All that said, the Inspire 2 is capable of making really great footage. The camera options are great. The footage looks great.
Hey Stephen, thanks for the insight.
I'm definitely lacking in film industry financial brains. I have projects to pitch but no idea how to communicate them in terms of what producers might value. Say I met you at a networking event, I honestly wouldn't know what to say to you for fear of wasting your time. Can you recommend a good resource where I can start to learn?
Any word on actual dynamic range for this camera?
I'd like to work with that sensor but that 1.8 crop factor is killing me. It would make for a difficult documentary camera. Not sure there are many options for ultra-wide angle EF L glass out there. It would make a killer camera for birding though... :) Raven, lol
That red plastic button tho...
