Way to take an analogy too seriously.
Toxic fandom are the jackass racists and sexists and people who harass the cast/crew on twitter. Saying a movie sucks because it has a bad script isn't 'toxic fandom' - its valid criticism, whether you agree with it or not. Idiots who try and discredit valid creative criticisms by calling them 'toxic' because they dont agree them are a bigger problem.
You can make good movies with no money. That isn't to say you cant make something better and more-polished with money. No one said, "You can make a better movie with no money than you can with a bucket of cash." For a lot of young filmmakers (and filmmakers in general), its a lack of funds that keep them from making something. That shouldn't stop anyone at this point in the digital era. Chill the fuck out.
Yeah try a busy schedule and not being able to watch movies on set. Not that it matters. You should be able to watch something whenever the hell you want (past a whopping one month window), without risk of it being ruined by a headline spoiler. They could just as easily have posted it with a spoiler tag. Dont defend their shittiness, mate.
Wow, thanks for the massive fucking spoiler. Not everyone gets to see movies the second they come out. Do the right thing and change the headline..
No - Scorsese is NOT known for working that way at all and everything he, Thelma Schoonmaker and his collaborators say point to the polar opposite
