Article Comment – What Can We Learn About Filmmaking from Stanley Kubrick's Philosophy on Life?

I've noticed that NFS has been posting a lot of articles from YouTubers. It's like everytime I watch a filmmaking video from my subscriptions, I see it on here a couple of days later.

I miss the days of original articles and filmmakers from NFS sharing their experiences on set.

I've been coming here less and less for that reason. I don't even recommend this website to P.As anymore, but rather which youtube channels to follow.

My hope is NFS goes back to its roots of posting original articles.

Article Comment – Field Review: Canon EOS-1D X Mark II Performs Double Duty

From a photography standpoint this thing looks great.

From a videographer standpoint, 8-bit, 4:2:0 and no Log options. Meh.

Article Comment – Canon Shows Off the 18-80mm EF Cine Zoom & Multi-Purpose Cams ME200-SH and ME20-SH

$5225 pre-order! I know it's a servo but that seems high for such a slow lens.
