I'm an editor living in New York and a filmmaking hobbyist.
My wife and I both liked this film. It has heart, the story's well told with just enough skating to make you say: "Wow, that was cool." Bing shares some great insight at such a young age. I'll be following his filmmaking career.
Great work with this interview, it's made me excited to see this film, to immerse myself in the moment and the story.
Although Kai's shtick does sometimes sound sophomoric, I found the idea of reviewing the contact sheet of famous photographers, carrying your camera with you more, shooting at sunrise and sunset and copying others, while not new advice, useful. Hopefully, I can make some of these tips habitual.
