Matt Fuller, is an award-winning filmmaker, storyteller and advocate of social justice.
After graduating with a degree in Film Production from the University of Central Florida, Fuller moved to Los Angeles and began his career in the motion picture industry. First working for Sony Picture Entertainemtn on their thriller, VACANCY, Fuller quickly steeped himself in the Hollywood system. While on the Sony backlot, Fuller connected with director Nelson McCormick who quickly embraced him as an assistant and mentee. Fuller worked as McCormick’s assistant for two years and McCormick directed two Sony feature films, PROM NIGHT and STEPFATHER.
After the release of STEPFATHER, Fuller transitioned in the story development sector of the business. He secured a position at MBST Entertainment, working under seasoned producers Scott Kroopf and Larry Brezner as a Creative Executive. It was there that Fuller would ascend the executive ranks soon becoming the Director of Film and Television Development where he supervised the development and production of Warner Bros. ARTHUR (Russell Brand) and Relativities’ LIMITLESS (Bradley Cooper).
In the fall of 2012, Fuller began his career as an independent filmmaker by directing and producing the feature length documentary, Autism in Love, which premiered at the 2015 Tribeca Film Festival and since been the receipent of 2015 Warsaw Film Festival Audience Award, 2015 Mammoth Lakes Film Festival Jury Prize, and the 2016 Peek Award. Autism in Love made it's broadcast premiere on PBS' Independent Lens and is now available on Netflix, iTunes, Amazon and Google Play.
