Two of your dislikes should be the 12 stops of dynamic range and the crazy data rate of 8K RAW on these cameras.

Proof of concept, perhaps, but the CGI is 2000’s game engine at bests.
They don't even come close to the usability of an Astera.
I can program almost anything into the Astera. I can set a color or colors, animations, dimming, power based on run time, battery percentage, etc.
I love where Quasar Science is going but I really wish thy had a version with a battery built into the light. I've been using Astera Titan Tubes for a couple of project and I love that they're so portable and come in a single unit. I don't have to worry about rigging and hiding batteries.
I doubt it. Apple is invested in their Metal API rather than CUDA.
You would be better suited buying the EOS R.
