so we'll add another five thousand to the $50,000 we're already paying for the mac pro ?
so you're not a working pro if you can't afford to fork out for this ?
i'm in canada ... add exchange, sales tax, monitor .... we're actually approaching $100,000 for a mac pro and monitor.
"starts" ... is a good one. i'm too busy this minute to crunch my own numbers, but i just flipped through two reputable tech / creative sites .. and they both pegged this thing as a $40K-plus body if you spec it up enough ... before monitor. and here in canada land, add exchange and taxes and GPU ... we're in the territory of $100,000 mac pro.
no offence brother .... but this is exactly the same as what we've all been doing for years .... but running the file thru photoshop first instead of ae; separating foreground element ... using content aware and other fine tuning tools such as patch to fill in the background, and manipulating with 3d layers and camera.
how the hell are they going to monitor the charge-level in your batteries ? can the xray / scanner read that on the batteries ? what if they catch a battery that's more than thirty percent charged ? you'll have to surrender your expensive batteries ? or fly to your shoot a day early with a bag full of dead batteries and leave 24 hours to get them all charged up ?
seriously ? i think most of us know that .. the question is: how to get that business ?
