Do the pros use it? There are a lot of various companies doing film emulation but I would think that, as discussed previously, a pro would just scan the video back onto a 35 mm film (can be done sideways a la Vista Vision for any ratio) and then scan it back to digital. A feature length scan would run no more than a couple of grand.
One can smear a jar of Vaseline on a Nikon kit lens and get the same resolution as Digital Bolex ... and, for a lot less too ...
