I spent some time manually fine-tuning the sync point between the audio tracks and it worked well to make up for the distance between the personal mics and the camera-mounted mic. Once that was done they were synced from start to finish since they were all recorded at the same sample rate.
I can't really afford the extra setup in this specific project since it's a one-man gig.
