Dont know if youre still looking for an answer- but what I've found is it ALWAYS crashes when making a "movie" if i just do photos there is no problem.
This is so on point.
It's interesting where things will go from here though. At least in the midwest, theres a huge divide between the old tired pros with the equipment they like, and a bunch of kids who dont have access to anything like this so they go for the sonys the Panasonics and Blackmagic.
While I totally agree there is sometimes concerns when shooting with dslrs for more than ten minutes or pulling an effects plate, even with great tools like magic lantern I'm hit the wall with my dslr. That also being said- I can't wait for blackmagic to ship so I use what I can. Gear will always be better tomorrow, but if all you have is a hammer, then every problem has to be a nail.
This was one of the things i was actually pretty pumped about.
Really hoping to try it out soon.
