If you think how good this device will be as a phone is important, you are completely missing the point. This device happens to ALSO be a phone. This is from RED. Think about it from the standpoint of within a RED ecosystem. I think making this also be a phone wasn't even necessary, but there will be content sharing and workflow options that will open up because of it. Hydrogen Two (or whatever the successor is) with a 5G connection will really make that sharing & workflow shine, I'm sure.
There are rumors about an FS5 Mk II at NAB, but no details on it.
Looks nice, but the Anker Astro Pro2 20000mAh looks like a lot more juice for only $80 at Amazon.

Firmware v1.3 (current is v1.4) added more card compatibility; is the problem with SanDisk cards still a problem?
