Ok that sounds like a good idea, thanks!
Hey, could I ask for some advice?
I'm planning to make a short film which switches between 4:3 and 16:9. I'm shooting on a 600D, which has the option to shoot at 4:3 in 480p (I haven't installed magic lantern yet).
I'm wondering what is the best way to achieve a 4:3 aspect ratio. I can either shoot it in 480p on my camera, shoot it in 1080p 16:9 on the camera and then introduce black bars on the sides in post, or...another way?
Would shooting in 480p yield a significantly worse image quality? (I've done some quick tests and I can't see a huge difference, but maybe I'm just deeply ignorant...)
